DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL PROBLEM OF DETERMINATION MAINTAINABILITY QUANTITATIVE REQUIREMENTS OF MATERIEL

Determination of maintainability quantitative requirements of materiel is to select adaptive maintainability parameters and determine their values.In the demonstration phase, determination of maintainability requirements often puts particular emphasis on materiel and its constitution, however, its operational and maintenance concept requirements are ignored.How to determine maintainability parameters and values in different maintenance levels is one of essential problems solved in the demonstration phase.On the basis of determining initial maintenance concept (such as levels, division of tasks, policies, resources, etc), the paper builds maintenance time parameter hierarchies and models, selecting maintenance time as the maintainability requirement parameter and taking satisfaction of operational requirements as the objective.Additionally, mathematical descriptions of determining maintainability quantitative requirements are given to establish the foundation of further analyzing and determining maintenance time.
