Application of Power Matching on Optimization of Three Way Valve Controlled Differential Cylinder
Hydraulic components are used to drag the load movement, so there is the problem whether output characteristics of hydraulic power components match the load characteristics, i.e. load matching. It requires the load locus fairly match the power sector output characteristics. In the design of the cylinder valve, power matching principle should be followed to make the system work normally and have good dynamic performance. Especially it is more important for high-power control system. Three way valve controlled differential cylinder has been widely used in machine-hydraulic servo system. In this paper, the analytical method was used to do the research of power matching on optimization of three way valve controlled differential cylinder. First mathematical model of its load characteristic was established and load locus was painted, then the output characteristics of transforming and performing components were obtained, finally power matching principle was used for parametric and optimal design of the system. We proposed the design guideline, which has some significance on improving the performance of such systems and broadening application ranges of valve controlled asymmetric cylinder system.
