Hydrothermal Synthesis and Optical Properties of ZnO Particles
Through hydrothermal process, different morphology ZnO particles are prepared with zinc acetate dehydrate and ammonia used as main resources. The microstructure, morphology and photolnminescence properties of the as-prepared products are characterized by x-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope and photoluminescence spectrum, respectively. The results indicate that the asprepared products are ZnO single crystalline with hexagonal wurtzite structure. The morphology change from rod-like to flower-like and PL intensity enhances when the growth temperature is increased from 120℃ to 200℃. CTAB greatly improves the crystalline of ZnO crystals.
