Appraisal of Energy Consumption of Port Logistics Network Based on Multi Agent System

Port Logistics Network (PLN), as a specific logistics network, plays a vital role in modern international trade. Most international cargos are transported by port logistic system, therefore PLN is crucial to keep the efficient flow of international cargos. Whereas PLN deals with many different activities and associates with a wide range of departments, at the same time PLN consume much energy during transportation, it is difficult to coordinate these departments and reduce energy consumption. Under the pressure of energy reduction, it is necessary for PLN to analyze the complex activities and its energy consumption construction to decrease energy consumption. This paper provides a new framework of PLN that depends on Multi-Agent System (MAS). MAS has peculiar characters(like independency, interactivity, reactivity) and is suitable to resolve and integrate distributive complex network system, in MAS every agent is independent section as well as one part of the overall system. In fact this paper assumes that PLN is a distributive complex system with many different agents, thereby in this paper we describe the MAS-Based PLN model. MAS-Based PLN model is composed of different components that represent different agents (like trucks, container yards, trailers, vessels). After analyzing the energy consumption construction of diverse agents, one appraisal will be given. On the basis of all above analysis, this paper is seeking for the good method to attain the aim of energy consumption saving and consumption reducing.
