Third-party Logistics Influence on the Closed-loop Supply Chain Dynamic System Stability

In this paper, two closed-loop supply chain models are established, and face demand uncertainty and recycle time delay. By means of Hoo robust control, the changes brought by third-party logistics is researched. Compared to static analysis, the dynamic behaviors of closed-loop supply chain is investigated by the robust control. The control policy is evaluated in terms of inventory states, production control and average cost. Finally, the simulation examples of closed-loop supply chains are given. Results show that Hoo control can guarantee closedloop supply chain stability. Under this stability, third-party logistics can help closed-loop supply chain to improve average cost and reduce retailer inventory level.
