A research on dealing with serial crimes with mathematical method

摘要：

Serial crime is generally defined as crimes in aserial or repetitive nature.In our paper,we try todevelop a method to aid in investigations of serial criminals by finding out the next location of the serial criminals.In our paper,firstly we work out a Concentration Driven Model (CDM) to make a prediction providing some kind of guidance about possible locations of the next crime from the microscopic point of view.Secondly,we add the concept of the center of hunting area and build a Centro-based Model (CM) tomacroscopicallypredict the possible locations of the next crime.Thirdly,we combine both models and come up with a combined model aiming at generate a more reliable prediction of the possible locations of the next crime.
