2D Common-reflection-surface Stacking Workflow in Seismic Data Processing
The common-re flection-surface stack method is an important seismic imaging technique. It can produce reliable stacked sections with excellent signal-tonoise ratio and the best illumination for the reflecting interface in the subsurface. This paper introduced the fundamental and the workflow of 2D zero-offset common-reflection-surface stack in seismic data processing. Application of 2D zerooffset common-reflection-surface stacking workflow on synthetic example and real data shows that this technique can improve the stacked section by increasing the signal-to-noise ratio and enhancing the consistence of reflection event The results reveal that the zero-offset common-reflection-surface stack is a promising tool in seismic data processing.
