Compact Wide Slot Ultra-wideband Antenna with Band Notch Characteristic
A novel printed wide slot antenna with band notch function at 5.8 GHz is presented for ultra-wideband applications. The configurations are etched onto a piece of printed circuit board with the size of 26mm X 26mm X 0.5mm. the performances of the antenna are investigated numerically. Parametric studies have also been carried out for the antenna. The results demonstrate that this wide slot antenna is suitable for ultra-wideband applications.
