Dual-Band Dual-Polarized Monopulse Antenna in Millimeter Wave Band
This paper describes the design of a dual-band dual polarized monopulse antenna operating at Ka- and Wband. The primary objectives are to develop a new reflector antenna with dual-band and dualpolarization capability in shared aperture, compact structure, and simple feed system. The feed of the antenna consists of nine horn antennas. Five horns working at W-band are vertical polarized; the others working at Ka-band are horizontal polarized. By adjusting the size of feed and the focal length of the Cassegrain system, good sum and differences patterns are achieved.
