A Novel Broadband Patch Antenna with Multi-Polarization Capability
A. single printed circular patch antenna with the characteristic of circular polarization (CP) and liner polarization (LP) was introduced in this paper. With the novel feed method and two PIN diodes, the antenna has a broader bandwidth and can switch between CP and LP mode. The feed net and the radiation patch were divided by a ground which has two ring slots to separate the pins and ground plane, to make the relative bandwidth more than 30％ at 5.1 GHz and the angle of the axial ratio (AR) less than 3dB about 100deg.
