An Improvement of Strip-Coaxial Transition With Ultra-broadband
A method of ultra-broadband strip-coaxial transition is described in this paper to settle connection problem. Decreasing the width of strip-line at stripcoaxial transition junction is adopted in the transition structure to eliminate the discontinuousness and gain an ultra-broadband with 1 ~18 GHz (vswr<1.05 and loss<0.06dB). An example is analyzed and simulated. The method is applied in 2ways power divider to validate the design validity and a good performance is gained.
