Simulation Demonstration of Terahertz Wave Propagation Along Shielded Planar Goubau Line
In this paper, an investigation of shielded planar Goubau line combining negligible dispersion and low loss, is proposed at terahertz frequencies. The propagation characteristics of waveguide are studied in frequency range 100-400GHz. Features and performances of this line are studied for different dimensions and different materials with low dielectric constants. A comparison of planar Goubau line (PGL) and shielded planar Goubau line (SPGL) is also given.
