Process Entropy Feature Analysis and Quantitative Diagnosis for Rotor Vibration Fault

For the shortcoming of diagnosis in status characterization, the complexity of vibration process and the randomcity of vibration fault generated, a method of fault features analysis and quantitative diagnosis comes up based on the information entropy theory in this paper. First of ail, four typical failures of rotor vibration was simulated based on rotor experiment and vibration fault data under more points and multi-speed was collected; Secondly, the power spectrum entropies (power spectrum entropy) which are fault features reflecting vibration process were extracted and information entropy matrixes which could describes the change disciplinarian of rotor ibration under more measurement points and multispeed were calculated through analyzing and processing the datum; Finally, the validity of this method between distinguishing the rotor fault types and determining the fault severity is proved to be effective by example calculation and quantitative diagnosis analysis of rotor vibration fault signals.
