Discovering Semantic Mappings for Ontology-based Data Access
Many organizations face the problem of how to get right data they need from complex data environment today, and ontology-based data access is considered as one of the most important way to solve this problem. In order to query relational database based on a well-defined ontology, mappings between relational database and ontology should be built properly. We provide an effective method of discovering semantic mappings of LAV style in this paper, which can help experts to build mappings in a semi-automatic way. Finally, we provide a prototype tool which implemented based on our method.
