Technology updation through technology transfer: Panacea for developing economies
Post WTO world is propagating a new thinking leading to a win-win situation for all the countries. Technology has always been in major decider and divider of the world. Removal of barriers from the world trade is a positive step to facilitate free flow of technology from developed world to underdeveloped and less developed world. Access to technology can turn around the economies of lesser developed countries, which are still struggling to overcome the plight of poverty and underdevelopment. Technology transfer is far more complex issue than it appears as it involves many stumbling blocks. However, the world is fast realizing the futility of beggar my neighbor policy adopted by developed nations in the past and this brings a hope for a new world that will nurture a win win relationship among countries for their sustainable development.
