Rig Veda-A Wave of Organic World in India

In recent decades, the populations of India comprising both consumers and producers have expressed increasing concern about the environmental impact of products. Considerable attention has been directed toward green products such as organic foods, recyclable paper, phosphate-free detergents, energyefficient lighting. The mankind has limited resources on the earth, with which she/he must attempt to provide for the worlds unlimited wants.. Organic farming was the backbone of the Indian economy and cow was worshipped (and is still done so) as God. The cow, not only provided milk, but also provided bullocks (for farming) and dung (which was used as fertilizers). The present research provides information on a study, which assessed the potential of the organic farming and organic products in India. The purpose of this exploratory study was to determine the environmentally friendliness of modern farming practices in India and establish consumer perceptions of organic products Looking to the future of organic farming in India, it examines the dynamic nature of ecologically conscious and health conscious consumer behavior. Making a substantial long- term commitment to the environment in India can dramatically improve the publics attitudes towards the business community as well. The policy decisions above provide new insights into the future move that the main stakeholders, businesses, consumers and the government, must take for an organic India. However, the organic phenomenon is not static and it is highly recommended that the organic movement be continuously studied and necessary strategies and tactics be adopted to cater for the intricacies of the Indian farmers and environment. Show potential customers that you follow organic business practices and you could reap more green on your bottom line. Organic farming and marketing isnt just a catchphrase; its a marketing strategy that can help you get more customers and make more money. But only if you do it right
