Absorptive Capacity and Its Innovation Outcomes: a Conceptual Framework
The aim of this paper is to contribute to the existing knowledge in the field of absorptive capacity through gathering and illustrating its innovative outcomes. This paper investigates the link among four main theoretical areas including absorptive capacity, innovation capability, innovation performance and ambidextrous innovation competence. A conceptual framework synthesized from a review of the literature is proposed. With the help of the proposed model organizations will learn that they can improve their innovation activities through high level of absorptive capacity.
