The Importance of Statistical Information Quality Regarding Labour Market for Innovation Management in Romanian Organizations during Financial Crisis
Within the global financial crisis, the use of statistical information on labour has a major importance for organizations in general and SMEs in particular. This paper discusses the role and effectiveness of such information for innovation management, in the process of organizing and allocating available resources for developing innovative projects and taking necessary measures to meet competitive challenges in innovation field. This paper presents an analysis of the current situation on labour market in Romania and of the employment, unemployment and inactivity evolution using information obtained from household labour force survey (AMIGO), conducted by the National Institute of Statistics. In this context, aspects of European Commissions Strategy: Europe 2020 are tackled, which envisages, among other important objectives, promotion of an economy with a high employment rate, able to generate social and territorial cohesion to exit the crisis.
