Possibilities to Collect Data regarding Performance Indicators of Public Funded Projects
The area of public funded projects has a growing interest following the increasing number of programmes and the amount of public funds allocated. Public interventions have to be well documented and in this regard performance indicators represent an indispensable tool to substantiate decisions and to define future actions taking into account past results. This article aims to present what indicators are envisaged to measure performance of public programmes, how data on these indicators are collected, and possible recommendations for quality improvement. Three study cases are included to illustrate how the data sources are considered for denned indicators.
