Management Information Systems based on Costs Computer Assisted Cost Calculator
Although 2009 was a year when the shock of the crisis was fully felt throughout the economy, many companies understand the importance of adopting a centralized computer system in order to control the organizational resources more effectively. Replacing the old system of management activities with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) that offers more flexibility, scalability and speed in decision of implementing a new long-term strategy has become a constant concern of business representatives. The method of research consists in showing that more international companies can share the same information system acting as a common database source and improving the speed and quality of decisional process. The research clearly points out the efficiency of adopting the ERP systems from an increasing number of companies.
