A Spatial Parallel Platform Simulation Based on SimMechanics
3-SPR mechanism is a spatial limited-dof parallel platform mechanism. Based on the SimMechanics Blockset of Simulink, the whole control model of this spatial mechanism is built, and trajectory tracking is carried out after setting the parameters properly, using simple PIO control. The curve diagrams derived from simulation example show that the trajectory tracking is extremely close to required result.
