Research on the Relationship Between Logistics Industry and Economic Growth in Jiangxi Province
logistics plays an important role in economic development. In the last twenty years, the total GDP in Jiangxi province increased average byl3.69％ annually and the output value of logistics industry grew by 17.32 ％ every year. In order to test if there is relationship between logistics industry and economic growth, this paper uses the econometric approach, such as cointegration theory. From tbe result, we make a conclusion that logistics industry and economic growth have obvious relationship, but the effect between them is relatively low. The main reason for this result is that the basic infrastructure of logistics in Jiangxi province is poor. Therefore, we should improve logistics system on large scale to impulse economic development in Jiangxi province.
