Forecasting Method of Hulun Lake Water Level Based on Wavelet Analysis and BP Neural Network
The water level of Hulun Lake play an important role in the ecological protection and economic development in the Hulunbeier grassland. It can be monitored by satellite altimetry which as an earth observation technique can not only provide the oceanic information, but also monitor the level variations of inland waters. But because of limit of conditions, some altimeter data is lost Wavelet analysis and BP neural network are used to forecast the lost data of lake water level. The forecasting values and observation values are compared. The result shows the method based on wavelet analysis and BP neural network is a better method to forecast water level variations of lake.
