Research Detection Algorithm on Infrared Small Target by Using Wavelet Transformation
In dynamic targets track measure system, a new detection algorithm on infrared small target base on wavelet transformation was put forward to gain clear target image feature and decrease mistake track. The principle of infrared small target detection was analyzed, according to the theory of wavelet transformation, Butter worth wavelet low-pass filtering was applied to filter noise and eliminate high frequency single; multi-resolution wavelet filter on infrared target was studied to improve image quality, and make the edge more clear. The method of image segmentation and edge detection on dynamic targets were analyzed. Through experiment and calculation, the detection algorithm meets the measure need.
