MW Wind Turbine Blade Test Modal Analysis
Establishing the wind turbine blade kinematical equation and analyzing the effect of the blade modal parameters on the amplitude amplification coefficient Getting damping of the blade from the large amplitude free attenuation test of 3.6 MW wind turbine blade by using the modal analysis method. Using the way not to measure force, the low-order natural frequency of the blade could be got by exerting sine excitation on the edge of the blade. The bending moment equation was shown on the positive direction along the blade based on the quality of unit. Making a database can attain the bending moment for the any position. Test result showed that using the test modal analysis method could get the wind turbine blade parameters effectively. This method was simple and effective.
