Modeling for Networked Control Systems with Multiple-Packet Transmission
This paper is concerned with the modeling and packet loss detection problem for a class of Networked Control Systems (NCSs) under consideration of multiple-packet transmission policy and input-output quantizer. The basic idea in this paper is to model the NCS as a discrete-time linear jump system with disturbance and fault. That is, influence of the quantization error is modeled as a kind of disturbance and the packet loss is treated as fault. Then we can get an optimal packet loss detector for robust fault detection problem. The disturbance rejection level limit is obtained in terms of Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI). A threshold of the packet loss detector can also be obtained to distinguish the disturbance and packet loss. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of our results.
