A Optimization Algorithm of Aerial Images Defogging Based on Dark-channel prior
In order to improve visibility limit of outdoor system especially UAVs vision system, we propose a new and fast approach to process the foggy degraded image. Using the dark-channel prior and the physical model of foggy image we remove fog from a single input image. The global defogging model and the adapting extending contract model are constructed in terms of optimizing method. Results on a variety of outdoor foggy images different in size demonstrate that it can efficiently enhance the contrast of foggy degraded images and recover a high quality fog-free image. Moreover, the method can overcome the Kaiming hes drawback of more time-consuming, and the average processing time is 0.1 of his. A 1024*11024 image is only used 1 to 2 second to process. At last the method can improve the clearness to the aerial images, and it is important to make foggy outdoor vision systems more reliable and more robust.
