An Advanced Broadcast Algorithm based on Perfect Difference Graph
For a broadcast algorithm, reducing the redundant broadcast messages is an important issue to increase the efficiency of its broadcasting. However, that also will influence the timeliness and node accessibility rate of the broadcasting. The broadcast algorithm based on Perfect Difference Graph (POG) is one solution for that. This paper proposed an Advanced Perfect Difference Graph (APDG) broadcast algorithm which cuts down the number of source nodes that need to be broadcasted and reduce the time cost for those source nodes, in addition, it also improves the performance by adding some parameters such as link performance and assigning the higher priority for those nodes with lower link performance. Experimental results show that our approach improve the broadcast speed in our simulation system.
