Development of a Visualization System for Meteorological Data
The development and implementation of a virtual realtime visualization system is introduced. The system was to display large quantities of meteorological data. Aspects like presentations of data with spatial dependence and interaction techniques are presented. Easy-to-use methods that permit users to interact with the data in a scale-true visualization are implemented. Key techniques and the difficulties with their solutions in the development and application of the system are analyzed and summarized. Using the data visualization system, the researchers can study the data in a 3D and stereo mode, which can improve the capability of researching the meteorological data.
