Error Analysis of Indirect Analytic Alignment
Sensitivity analysis of Indirect Analytic Alignment (IAA) approach for Strap-down Inertial Navigation System (SINS) with respect to sensor biases and linear vibration is carried out. And the explicit error analysis formulations are derived. By inspecting the error formulations, the IAA method is more sensitive to linear vibration than sensor biases. The error characteristics of initial constant Euler angles implies that it can estimate the gyro biases by fitting slope of initial Euler angles. The analysis is well validated by simulation and the result is helpful in design alignment process for Strap-down inertial navigation system
