An adaptive window object tracking based on particle filtering
In the process of targeting and tracking under complex scenes, the scale of the target often changes. Tracking systems with fixed-size tracking window usually cannot accommodate the scenarios with irregularly varied scale of the targets. In this paper, we propose an adaptive window object tracking based on particle filtering, combining particle filtering tracking with moving target detection. This method is efficient to improve the classical color histogram based particle filtering tracking frameworks. In the presented tracking experiments, this new method successfully selects the proper size of tracking window when the object scale varies over time.
