A Subjectivity Quantification Model based on Cloud Theory
Subjectivity is an indiscerptible characteristic of human and agents or entities of artificial systems. It results from uncertainties widely existed in natural facts and human cognition processes, and results to imprecise cognition. Cloud theory integrates fuzziness and randomness, which are two kinds of most important uncertainties. Based on cloud theory, a quantification model for subjectivity is proposed. Deviation degree, which is the extent that expectation value of sub sample set deviates from that of total sample set, indicates cognition difference of subjectivity. Fuzzy degree, which is the ratio of sub sample sets entropy to its expectation value, indicates cognition fuzziness of subjectivity. Random degree, which is the ratio of sub sample sets hyper entropy to its entropy, indicates cognition randomness of subjectivity. A computation instance of node reputation in trusted networks is simulated to demonstrate the proposed subjectivity quantification model and its application.
