Multi-criteria Recommendation based on Direct Latent Factor Model
Multi-criteria recommendation is a way to help individuals in a community to find information or items that are most likely to be interested or be relevant to their needs in multi-criteria rating environments. However, the existing approaches always extend the two dimensional algorithms to three dimensional ones and dont take into account the influence between the criteria. This paper presents a Direct Latent Factor (DLF) model to predict unknown ratings by estimating the latent factor matrix between known and unknown ratings. Experiment results show that DLF model provides more accurate prediction and better performance in precision-recall metrics.
