Message Delay Modeling for Beacon-enabled MAC Protocol in Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要：

With wireless sensor networks(WSX) developing, industrial real-time applications with WSN are becomign more wide-spread. Message delay is critical for real-time applications. In this paper, a MAC message delay model for beacon-enabled WSN is built and a simulation program based the model is developed. Based on the simulation results, improvements for the superframe structure of the IEEE 802.15.4 are suggested for industrial real-time WSN applications.
