Research of Cross-Correlation Tracking Algorithm Based on Variable Templates
To hurdle the limitations of the fixed template during the tracking process of moving target, a variable template technology is introduced. And by combining with the traditional cross-correlation tracking algorithm, constitutes a new crosscorrelation tracking algorithm that based on the updated template. Based on the analysis of the crosscorrelation matching algorithm, the cross-correlation tracking algorithms with fixed template and the updated template are respectively used to track the target. Finally, the comparison results of the two tracking algorithm is presented. The crosscorrelation tracking algorithm based on variable templates can attain more accurate target location and shape information.
