Certificate Revocation Scheme Based on Active Status Certificate
Certificate revocation is one of the key issues in Public Key Infrastructure.Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional certificate revocation schemes,this paper presents readers with a new scheme based on Active Status Certificate (ASC),and the way how to make use of this method is also to be discussed.This scheme has both the advantages of Certificate Revocation List (CRL) and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP),flexible and practical,so that it is much easier to efficiently decrease the load of network communication and lessen the computation times of cryptooperation in its revoking or verifying process.
