A Note on Convergence of Differential Entropies
A conjecture on the convergence of differential entropy is discussed,and we also give a rigorous proof of the proposition:Let fn(x)∞n=1 be a sequence of density functions and f(x) be a density function,and limn→∞ fn(x) = f(x),x ∈ R.If there exist positive constants A.B such that for all n,A ≤ fn(x) ≤ B.t∈ Sfn.then limn→∞H(fn) = H(f).Where Sfn is the support of fn(x).
