Study on the Integration of Water Information System based on XML
Water Information Exchange is an important objective of water conservancy information electronization.However,with different applications and operating environment of all departments of the water industries,there often is the difficulty in data exchange.Based on the study on the Integration of Water Information System of XML,the advantage of the XML in solving the problem of heterogeneous database has been analyzed.It put forward the program of XML documents as an intermediary of data exchange and designed the Water Information Integration System.It also introduced the functional design of the system,emphasizing the methods and the steps of the hydrological data in the interchange of XML and database.The study on the integration of Water Information System of XML offered the possibility for heterogeneous system sharing the water information in the open environment via internet.
