A DCT Domain Blind Watermarking Algorithm Based on Correlation
In order to promote the copyright protection,propose a correlation based DCT domain blind watermarking algorithm.Conduct 8×8 blocks of DCT (discrete cosine transform) transform to original image first,and generate a polarity matrix on the basis of the relation between DC and medium frequency coefficients in each transformed block.Compare the polarity matrix with the optimal scrambled binary watermark and then modify the medium frequency coefficient to achieve the purpose of watermark embedding.The original image is not necessary- in watermark extracting process.A multitude of simulation results indicate that the algorithm is robust to such image processing as shearing,JPEG compression and salt & pepper noise.
