Application of groundwater numerical simulation for the determination of optimal exploitation scheme in Baijie water source
Detailed study on hydrogeological conditions of Baijie water source were carried out in this paper,based on which conceptual and numerical models were obtained.The numerical model is calculated using Visual MODFLOW software.The calibration and verification results show that the numerical model is appropriate to describe the groundwater flow.Several exploitation schemes were designed,and an optimal exploitation scheme was obtained by analyzing the prediction results.The results show that the scheme 4 is the optimal scheme with 49 pumping wells,and the pumping pattern is distribution with a pumping rate of 163.27 m3/d.
