Replicas Adaptive Data Delivery Scheme (RADD) in DTMSN

In DTMSN which has the inherent feature of intermitted connectivity,it is reasonable to utilize multi-replica schemes in order to improve the data delivery performance. However, most existing multireplica approaches inject a large amount of message copies into the network, which may drain the limited network resource of DTMSN.So a proper data delivery method need to trade off between the number of replicas of messages and the performance. In this paper,we propose a new data delivery scheme RADD (an Replicas Adaptive Data Delivery Scheme),which economizes network resource using a self-adapting algorithm to cut down redundant replicas of messages, and achieves a good network performance by leveraging the delivery probabilities of the mobile sensors as main routing metric.Simulation results have shown that the proposed RADD achieves comparable or higher message delivery ratios at the cost of the lower transmission overhead than several current DTMSN data delivering schemes.
