The Hermitian positive definite solution of the nonlinear matrix equation X2? + A*X-1A = Q
In this paper,we study the nonlinear matrix equation X2m + A*X-1A = Q,where A is t? x n nonsingular real matrix and Q is n ×n HPD matrix.It is shown that the equation has a unique HPD solution under some conditions.Iterative algorithm for obtaining the HPD solution of the equation are proposed.Finally,numerical examples are reported to illustrate the effectiveness of algorithm.
