Coal-rock Interface Recognition Using Hilbert Marginal Spectrum
A new method using Hilbert marginal spectrum is presented to solve the problem of coal-rock interface recognition in the top caving process.Coal or waste rock impinges against the tail beams of the hydraulic support. The impact causes the vibration of the tail beams.Because of different characteristics, dissimilarities will exist between the both cases. The coal-rock interface is recognized by comparing the Hilbert marginal spectmms. Results show that the proposed method is a promising approach for identifying the coal-rock interface.
