Overview of Recommendation Systems in E-commerce
As a promising solution to alleviate information overload,recommendation system plays an important role in e-commerce applications in order to improve customer service through recommending items that the users will possibly be interested in.This paper provides a comprehensive overview of representative researches on recommendation systems.The merits and limitations of existing recommendation approaches and some useful evaluation metrics are also discussed from technical as well as business prospects.Finally,some meaningful topics for future researches are suggested.
