Design of Automatic Control System for the Rice Seed Tape Twisting Machine

In order to fully draw out the potential of lightweight and efficient of the development of the rice direct sowing technology with seed tape,the paper-making improved the design on the rice seed tape twisting machine and developed an automatic control system for the machine.The developed system consists of a controller,input control module,rice seed tape winding control module,transmission control module.An STC90C514AD chip microprocessor has been used as the controller and a LCM display module is adopted as the indicator.It used an angular displacement sensor real-time detecting on the disk diameters during the winding process,used a photoelectric sensor detecting the break of the seed tape,based on STC90CS14AD to realize the rotating speed adjustment of the seed tape disk by used the step motor and it controlled the other working parts working by each motor.The system can realize the motors worked in their times and make the rotating speed of the disk reduce when the diameters increase.It avoids the seed tape broken because of the seed tape linear velocity constant and the tensions uniform in the process of the seed tape rolling.The experimental results show that the machine performs well.Coefficient of variation of the seed rope linear velocity was 4.64%,the tension uniformed during the seed tape winding process.The working efficiency of the machine is 360m/h.It shows that the machine and the control system meet the overall design requirements well.
