Prediction of Ship Roll based on Combination of Phase Space Reconstruction Theory and Improved Elman Network
Aiming to the chaotic nature of ship swaying motion,a new prediction approach for ship rolling motion has been proposed.This approach is based on combination of phase space reconstruction theory and improved Elman network.According to the phase space reconstructed theory,the method and the selecting of the key parameters in the modeling is discussed.Then the ship rolling data is first reconstructed,as the input of improved Elman neural network to predict.Simulation results demonstrate the method proposed in this paper has better predicted precision than only using Elman neural network.
