Design of Autocontrol System for Submerged Arc Furnace

There is a range of the submerged arc furnace,such as the high lift control system failure rate.In order to solve these problems,a Fuzzy PID Control System based on PLC was designed.The main configuration,PLC program structure,operation panel and the configuration screen of the system were described in this article.According to on-site process requirements,a Bumpiest-Switching function from manual to automatic was achieved.The disadvantages of inaccurate and lags were avoided in the case of manual operation,and the regulation times of electrodes was reduced.Thereby,the power efficiency of the submerged arc furnace and the quality and output of the product were all enhanced.The experiment performance data indicated that the Fuzzy PID Control System based on PLC was reliable,easy to operate,and didnt require a large amount of maintenance.It will play an important role in promoting the production of the same industry.
