To speed up the construction of fire information,promote the development of fire and speed up the application of virtual reality technology in fire,the paper briefly introduces the concept,features and key technologies of virtual reality technology,it focuses on analysis of the application of virtual reality technology in the fire-fighting rescue computer simulation training,fire safety education of citizens,fire investigation,building fire safety assessment,the training of firefighters skills,decision-making for fire-fighting rescue program,the research of fire science,119 Linkage Digital Network,the teaching of fire college,etc.
