Iterative Algorithm Based on DCT and Block-Type Pilot-Assisted for Channel Estimation of OFDM Systems
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM),one of whose key applications is channel estimation,is the core of wireless multimedia communication technologies.The aliasing effect in the channel estimation method by making use of the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) for OFDM system is analyzed,and based on our obtained results,a DCTbased iterative algorithm channel estimation is put forward,here the abbreviation DCT denotes discrete cosine transform.Compared with the known channel estimation algorithm,the proposed algorithm not only has better performance under the common channel condition,but also is more suitable for fast varying channel conditions of the OFDM system.Simulation results show the improved OFDM channel estimation algorithm is effective.
