Design and Implementation of Database in Product Configuration Management System Based on PDM

摘要：

Database design is a key problem of Product Configuration Systems.The paper presents a database of PCS is constructed rapidly by SmarTeam,and the existing database structure has been modified.The product structure tree is introduced to design database of PCS,the definition of tree structure is detailed and structure product tree;based on the characteristics of oriented-object technology and relational database,two combine in PDM,then objectrelational database management system is established to adapt to the users own needs.The result can be expected to improve openness and adaptability of the product configuration system based on PDM,and to provide a reference for design of similar database system.
